We are pleased to share that our Postdoctoral Research Associate, Selin Akpinar Adscheid, has successfully defended her doctoral thesis on July 11, 2025.
Selin carried out her PhD research in Biopharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions PhD Fellow within the Bio2Brain project. Her work was conducted at MyBiotech GmbH in collaboration with Saarland University, under the supervision of Prof. Marc Schneider.
Her research focused on the formulation and scalable production of polymeric nanoparticles for nose-to-brain delivery applications. During her PhD, she also undertook research and training stays at Queen Mary University of London (UK) and the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (Italy).
